My motherboard died last Friday x.x
I totally had no idea about why my PC stopped working. It was just …strange. I was multitasking as hell (aka: coding 2 videos, working on one, running FFXI, Firefox, Thunderbird, playing MP3 and maybe a couple instances of putty and other softwares….) and then it decided to turn it off itself :x Probably for protection or something, I stupidly turned it on again and died for good.

Was completely dead, plugging in electricity did nothing D: No sounds, no beeps, no fan noises, wtf! Tough was the PSU but I changed 2 of them and was still like that. Opened it and saw MOBO led of…. yay.

And of course…… took advantage of the whole situation and improved my PC!

Broken MOBO was an Asus M2N-E. Bought an Asus M3N78-EMH/HDMI (hopefully I’ll get some new fancy monitor and GFX card soon :x) and upgraded my system from 2GB RAM->4GB.
Also got some “cute” heat sink (because that’s actually an issue for me most of the times) and ……… a Tablet.

So happy this is white because it will look cute with the white desk I’m going to buy at Ikea in a week or so! Hopefully this will kill my Art procrastinating. And makes me wanting more to install Tomcat+Paintchat on my server x.x;;

Server talkings! I bought a new one. That makes me having three servers at the moment…>.>

I’m kinda having an “argue” with it because it refuses to get X-server working properly. I know doing EVEYTHING through putty-command line is cool, but after a while it gets annoying (mostly because I never happen to remember commands like un-tarring or go look for exact apt packs when i need to install something x.x;;
Hating this thing more than ever because it actually WORKS on my home serv PC but not there…..and using same commands… what the hell..
So uh, guess I’ll have something to play with!
